Please consider a donation to Safe Harbor Inn--just click on the JustGive button here on the website. Each $10 you give pays for one safe, comfy bed night for a homeless child or adult. And our average cost to help each person move from homelessness to self-sufficiency is less than $1,000!
Since it opened on November 9, 2001, the Safe Harbor Inn has expanded four times to serve a growing waiting list. Families with children have filled up the 50 new rooms at Safe Harbor Muldoon. Both Safe Harbor hotels are now serving at least 300 guests every month - half of them children under 18.
The average length of stay to date is still just 102 days. Motel operations have been smooth and peaceful, and 11 of the 17 staff are former Safe Harbor guests.
